Growing up in Colorado, TJ Guercio has always been interested in ecology and nature. A 2024 graduate of Colby College with degrees in environmental science and anthropology, TJ is now a graduate student at the University of Minnesota studying Conservation Sciences and Fisheries. His thesis project focuses on taimen conservation in the Darhad Valley, Mongolia.

TJ is an alumnus of Round River’s Mongolia program, and this is his second year serving as the program’s assistant instructor. He loves Mongolia and is excited to return to the field.
