Post-Acceptance/

Pre-Departure

Steps to Prepare for Your Round River Program:
  • Admission: Congratulations on your acceptance! Once you’re admitted to a program, you’ll receive an official email welcoming you to the Round River community. This email will include instructions for paying a deposit to confirm your enrollment.

  • First Information Packet: After paying your enrollment deposit, you’ll receive your first information packet. This packet contains essential details about your program location, including an overview of important dates, academics, pre-program planning, and what to pack.

  • Paperwork and Forms: You’ll need to complete and submit several important documents, including health forms, liability waivers, and contact information forms.

  • Flights: We’ll provide guidelines for arrival dates and times, and we will connect you with our travel agents to help you coordinate your travel to the program location.

  • Second Information Packet: As your departure date approaches, you’ll receive a second information packet. This provides more detailed information on your program itinerary, travel logistics, and additional resources to help you prepare effectively.

  • Orientation/1-1 Discussion: Before departure, we will conduct an orientation session to cover final preparations, answer any remaining questions, and ensure you’re fully ready for your semester abroad.  You’ll also have a one-on-one discussion with a Round River staff member to address any specific needs, questions, or concerns you may have.
