Julia’s work experience of the past two decades has been focused around botany, environmental education program management, and sustainable agriculture. She was a participant on RRCS’s Great Bear Rainforest student program in 2007, and joined the Round River staff in early 2024.

Julia received her BS in Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology with minors in Environmental Science and Music from Western Washington University.
