Selena Zhao

Botswana Program Instructor

Selena graduated with a degree in political science and a minor in organismic biology from Harvard University. She went on to receive a master’s in conflict studies from Queen’s University Belfast. Her fieldwork experiences include working with spectacled eiders, collared pikas, and shorebirds during fall migration, in addition to hydrologic and archaeological fieldwork. She is passionate about the intersection of the social and natural sciences, and excited to be teaching in Botswana! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travel, photography, and road trips.
