Rowena is a conservation ecologist who splits her time between her home in Patagonia and her ongoing research in Tasmania, Australia. Rowena holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of NSW and a PhD from the University of Tasmania, both in Biological Sciences. Rowena has worked across Australia, Indonesia, China and now Patagonia, working with NGOs, environmental consultancies, universities and environmental education organisations. Her interests lie in undertaking applied, practical research which helps improve conservation management.
