Sara is a conservation scientist that brings a wealth of expertise spanning non-profits, government, academia, and private environmental consultation to her role at Round River. Sara is currently the Student Programs Co-Director along with Ben Szydlowski. She oversees all student programs, including but not limited to program logistics, admissions, project development, and community relationships with an emphasis on the Patagonia, Mongolia, and Belize programs. She joined Round River in 2020, and has led student programs in Belize, Patagonia, and the Taku as an instructor, progressively advancing to her current role.
Sara holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Ecology from SUNY Brockport.
